Miscellaneous

I went to Michaels and bought some decorations on sale last night. I'll take and post pictures of them when the camera is recharged. I got:

• Gold stringed stars (about 8 stings)
• Four flower-pot-y things with nice star designs (two are green and gold and two are white and gold)
• Four glittery birds: one red, one bronze, one sliver, and one gold. They are not in perfect condition, but I thought we could probably put them somewhere that people won't be able to see them up close.
• Four mini-bird cages (one for each bird). Two are green and two are cream.
• 20 yards of green ribbon. I think we might have enough ribbon now.

New Brunswick Party

The plan has now been set (I believe): an open reception at the farm in the afternoon, followed by a closed dinner reception at Shadow Lawn in Rothsay.

The dinner menu will be a prix fixe for the whole group:

• Spinach raspberry salad OR Fiddlehead soup (this will be determined shortly)
• Salmon en croute
• Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Tart OR Chocolate Cappuccino Torte (this too will be determined shortly)

Other events:

• Nan and Gramps' 60th anniversary
• New Brunswick Day (Aug 3)
